THE POSITION

Business Management Software Sales Rep/Consultant.
This is an inside sales position where you will deal with the customer over the phone, internet, e-mail, by fax and using conventional mail. There will be some travel involved for the occasional tradeshow.

REQUIREMENTS

We're looking for professional sales people with outstanding business experience and a proven track record or potential in sales. Knowledge of computers, networks, inventory control, point of sale, accounting, and of course superior people skills are required to succeed. As the majority of your contact will be over the phone, a strong phone presence is mandatory.
Familiarity with our software, Windward System Five / SpeedyPOS / SpeedyPOS PLUS and the ability to articulate the benefits it provides to the prospect are paramount.
Our marketing department will generate the majority of the leads you'll be working on however cold calls into your market area are part of our integrated sales strategy.
While Windward System Five will work in many different business types, you will work with our sales manager to determine the vertical market(s) that you will become expert in.

Windward Software has three major products; SpeedyPOS for retail point of sale applications, SpeedyPOS Plus which has greater power and integrated accounting, and our flagship product, Windward System Five which can be configured specifically for many different vertical markets such as small engine sales and service and repair companies or furniture stores. Designed by business people for business people, Windward Software applications help with the day to day running of the business as compared to a simple accounting program that just reports what happened after the fact.

THE REGION

The majority of our sales are in Australia and North America; however, we have sales in 23 countries. These international sales lend us credibility at home, and are profitable in their own right.

LOCATION

Our main office is located in Goodna, a 20 minute train ride from the Brisbane CBD, and close to two major motoways.

THE PAY

The pay package includes a base salary, a sliding commission rate and quarterly bonuses as well as a company benefit plan.
