| Price Schedules
Windward System Five will allow you to enter a customer price schedule
to ensure they always get the special deal that they negotiated
with you. Up to twelve different price schedules can be used and
you can also enter exceptions to the rule.
With price schedules, you can set a list price and up to 12 discount
price levels on each inventory item. When a customer makes a purchase,
the system will look at the customer record to see which price schedule
should be used and then sets the price on the invoice accordingly.
With price schedule exceptions, you can put a customer on an even
better price schedule for a select sub category so that when those
types of items are purchased, they get an even better discount.
This is advantageous when negotiating with good customers. If they
purchase a lot of one type of item, you can give them a discount
on just those items but not other items. Why give away the store?
