System Five has a built-in import/export facility, and with one button you can kick off an export of customers, categories or inventory (or all three). With that one button your Windward software will export the requested data to your webserver. This data is in an open format, and can be used by just about any website.

We have created interfaces to two of the most popular web shopping carts available, Joomla's Virtuemart and OS Commerce. It's very easy to update the site several times a day (or per hour, or even more often if required).

Customers and inventory created in System Five are uploaded to the web and made instantly available. New customers created online are imported back to System Five, along with their orders.

You can control which items are available online, and the system allows images to be attached and automatically linked to the item. To reduce time and bandwidth requirements, System Five will only send items that have changed since the last update. System Five has a special item comment that only appears on the web site, allowing any length of description.

When orders are made online, one button click imports them directly into System Five for review and processing. If the order is approved, your inventory and accounting components are instantly updated to reflect this sale.
