You can set high and low stock quantities, special order stock and run back orders, and when you're ready to place some orders, System Five will present your list of stock, separated by supplier. All you need to do is confirm that the list includes things you want ordered, and hit GO and the balls start rolling.

Sometimes things don't always go as you plan. System Five was designed for real business and allows you to accomodate those annoying real-life events that mock your best laid plans. If a supplier tells you some items on a purchase order are no longer available or have been replaced with different items, you can un-send that order, make the appropriate changes, and re-send it, so System Five knows what's in the pipe. If you don't need that level of control, you can wait until the order arrives to make the required changes.

System Five is fully integrated, and it understands that supplier bills don't always arrive with the order. You can receive the goods and get stuck into the important business of making money, and enter the billing details when they're known. System Five connects the bill to the order, and when you pay the bill, it connects the cheque to the bill. All of these connections are managed without extra input from you.
